ADDITIONAL COPIES
Additional copies of drawings can be purchased within 30 days of the original invoice date. Contact us at 1-888-783-0651 and quote your original invoice number when ordering additional sets.
CHANGES/ALTERATIONS TO PLANS
If you find a plan that requires a few minor changes let us know. We would be happy to discuss any changes required to make the plan right for you. Contact us at 1-888-783-0651 to discuss your requirements and we will prepare a quote for the cost to complete your changes.
Purchase of plans from JH Home Designs indicates acceptance of the following terms and conditions.
SALES TAX
GST will be charged on all orders to Canadian customers. HST will be charged on all orders to applicable provinces. International customers are responsible for paying all duties, tariffs and any other import fees.
RETURNS
Plans are not returnable for refund. Plans may be returned (all sets in original condition) within 30 days of original invoice date for credit to be applied against a future purchase. Credit can be used as payment up to 12 months from original invoice date. After 12 months the customer forfeits the credit. The customer is responsible for any return shipping costs. Electronic PDF copies can not be returned once emailed from our office and are therefore not eligible for the return-for-credit program. All Electronic PDF sales are final.
CREDIT CARD INFORMATION
JH Home Designs does not keep credit card information on file. If ordering additional copies or making any other purchases after the original purchase the customer will need to re-supply their credit card information.
ELECTRONIC PDF COPIES
All electronic PDF copies of drawings are secured so that they can not be printed. Printing additional copies of the drawings or making copies by any other means violates international copyright laws (for additional information see next item). If you purchase an electronic PDF copy it is meant for estimating purposes only. While many contractors and subcontractors will prepare estimates using electronic versions of the drawings some may require hard/paper copies of the drawings. We recommend taking this into consideration when selecting the number of drawings you wish to purchase.
COPYRIGHT
All plans, designs and renderings found on this site are owned by JH Home Designs and are protected by international copyright laws. Reproduction of any plans, designs and renderings is strictly prohibited. Purchase of a set of plans from JH Home Designs gives the purchaser the right to build one structure only. Purchased plans can not be resold.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. JH Home Designs designs and draws all drawings within the scope of Part 9 of the Alberta Building Code (most recent edition at the time of the drawings production).
2. In some rare cases local municipalities may require an engineer’s report and stamp on certain drawings if that location is known for poor soil conditions, high snow/wind loads or other unusual conditions. In this case it is the responsibility of the homeowner or the homeowner’s contractor to obtain all required reports and/or drawings bearing an engineer’s stamp. Check with your local building authorities to see if there are any special requirements with regard to your project.
